Hello from Brad and Fran Hoagland! This blog was created by us to share in our journey of love. It is going to be a life changing adventure that we decided to dedicate the rest of our lives to. It is our Journey to Annsleigh, our daughter. As of now, we don't know where she is, or if she is even born yet, but we know that God led us on this journey and He will find her for us and keep her safe. We are adopting Annsleigh from Ethiopia.

- Brad and I have been married for 8 years. We have a beautiful 6 year old son who is a pure joy in our lives. Brad works at Bridgestone and is starting school soon for criminal investigation. I am a NICU nurse at our local hospital. We have anxiously devoted our lives to adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia. Her name is Annsleigh.

- September 1, 2009 OFFICIAL OK TO TRAVEL! OFFICIAL SEP 17 VISA APPT
- Aug 10, 2009 Court Passed once and for all! Tentative embassy appt of Sept 17
- July 12, 2009 Got call from agency that we actually arent her parents yet. Need birth mother to appear in court again on Aug 10...new court date...Aug 10
- July 8, 2009 Court Passed! She is ours! New Tentative embassy appt date given of Aug 20
- July 2, 2009 Paperwork still not done. New embassy appt date of Aug 6
- June 30, 2009 Court case did not pass due to missing signatures on orphanage part. No date rescheduled.
- June 29, 2009 Agency unable to get any news from Ethiopia due to power outage there
- June 26, 2009 Court case not seen due to power outage in Ethiopia. Retry case on June 29
- June 5, 2009 Did not pass court due to missing paperwork from orphanage. Court rescheduled for June 26
- April 27, 2009 Assigned a Court Date of June 5, 2009
- March 30, 2009 Received Referral
- June 3, 2008 - Officially Waiting For Referral
- May 23, 2008 - Dossier Off to Washington DC
- May 16, 2008 - Complete Dossier to St Louis, CHI

I am so excited! I can't wait to see and meet her. Let me know when you are ready to go baby shopping! I am soooo there!!! I can't wait to do a baby shower again, too! FUN! Love ya'll!

I am so happy for you. You are giving a life to a child that would not have one.I know that you all have the love cause I could tell that when I worked with you.
